Colour Q 50

When I saw this week's colours at Colour Q I knew I wanted to take part and put all these colours together:

My work colleague is going to be 50 in a few weeks and I made a card for this great occasion and this is what I came up with:

I really enjoyed making this card, I got to colour in with such bright colours and use a new stamp set as well as a borrow one from a team member. I stamped the Apothecary Stamp in Rich Razzleberry and cut it out with the labels framelits and then coloured in with markers, using the sentiment from the same set in Bermuda Bay. Then I used the numbers from the Memorable Moments stamp set and punched it out with the Ticket Duo punch and layered it on some Primrose Petal with the scalloped oval punch. I then stamped the pansies from the Flower Shop stamp in each colour and then I stamped a couple more and used my markers to colour the petals on the one that looks like patch work. I then added some basic jewels and a candy dot in the corner. Then layered it on some dsp from afternoon picnic which has Coastal Cabana in as I don't have any dsp with Bermuda Bay in, but it works. I punched some Bermuda Bay cardstock with the scallop trim border punch and added it to the Primrose Petal cardstock. Which I put quatrefancy dsp in Daffodil Delight trimmed with the Small Scallop blade, added some washi tape and put everything together.

Thank you for popping by.

If you've been hopping round then welcome, if you've started here then hello & remember to see what everyone else has created by clicking on the names below my post.  Here is this month's theme:  I really wanted to use some of the new papers I received this past week, so I found some photos that were from a Mexican evening out & new I could use the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack to go with the photos. So this is what I created:  I used the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper for my backing paper, I then added some Call Me Clover card stock, Poppy Parade, Gorgeous Grape & Daffodil Delight Brights DSP & some Daffodil Delight Cardstock for the banner. Here is a close up of me getting this all ready:  With the banner I cut some scrap & using the stitched oval die I ran it through the big shot part w
